เรื่องแรก Keyword Research
การแข่งขันในเรื่องของ keyword โดยส่วนใหญ่จะขึ้นอยู่กับขนาดความยาวของคำ เปรียบเทียบได้คือ โลกแคบ(keyword) แต่การแข่งขันสูงมาก
คุณ HotelBestBuy เสริมมาให้ครับ
Long tail strategy คือ ยิ่ง niche ยิ่งคู่แข่งน้อย
เช่น หากเราจะขายเครื่องตัดหญ้า ก็ใช้คำว่า “เครื่องตัดหญ้า” แบบนี้จะเป็นคำกว้าง คู่แข่งเยอะ (จากรูปก็เช่นคำว่า SEO นั่นแหล่ะ)
หากจะใช้ Long tail คือ คุณ ระบุยี่ห้อไปเลย เช่น “เครื่องตัดหญ้า sony” (มีที่ไหนฟระ)
หรือจะให้แคบเข้าไปอีกก็ “เครื่องตัดหญ้า sony รุ่น ipad” คู่แข่งที่ทำ SEO ก็จะน้อยลง แต่คลิกจากที่คน search ก็จะน้อยลงตาม
แต่โดยทฤษฎี long tail นี้ จะมี conversion สูง
เรื่องที่สอง Site Architecture & Structure
จุดสำคัญมันอยู่ตรงนี้ครับ ถ้าคุณคิดว่าหน้าเว็ปอื่นๆสำคัญกว่าเว็ปที่เป็นหน้าหลักของคุณ ดังนั้น คุณต้องแน่ใจว่ามันได้ลิงค์กลับไปยังหน้าหลักของคุณตลอดจนหน้าอื่นของเวปไซต์คุณ ต้องจำไว้เสมอว่า Googleไม่ได้จัดอันดับที่ตัวเวปไซต์ แต่พวกเขาจัดอันดับหน้าเว็บไซต์

แต่ขอเสริมว่า “Hierarchy” ก็มีความหมายนะ คือลักษณะการวางโครงสร้างเวบที่ลิงค์กันระหว่างภายในไซต์ หากลิงค์มั่ว PR มันจะไปกองในจุดที่เราไม่ต้องการ การไหลของ PR สำคัญยังไง ?
เช่น พวกหน้า cart (เวบขายสินค้า หน้าขายสินค้าก็ต้องมีลิงค์ไป cart) หากไม่ได้ทำ nofollow หรือ cloak link ค่า PR ของแต่ละเพจในเวบเรามันก็จะไปเทให้หน้าที่ไม่ได้ต้องการติด search อย่างหน้า cart นี่ได้ครับ
ดังนั้นพวกหน้า cart หรือหน้าทีี่ไม่ได้ต้องการติด search มันไม่ควรจะมี PR เราก็ใช้วิธีอะไรก็ได้เพื่อไม่ให้มันมี
ลักษณะการลิงค์ที่ทำให้ PR ไหลที่ดีคือควรออกแบบไซต์ให้เป็นลักษณะ “โครงสร้าง” (Hierarchy) ตัวอย่างเช่น Thailand / Phuket / Patong / xxxhotel > แบบนี้คือโครงสร้าง ซึ่ง CMS ทั้งหลายก็จะแบ่งไว้ให้อยู่แล้ว
แต่เวลาทำเวบ หน้า xxxhotel นี้มันก็อาจมีลิงค์จากหน้าของ category อื่นมาได้ เช่น Thailand / Spahotel / xxxhotel เราก็ต้องบอกบอทว่า จะให้ xxxhotel นี่อยู่ในโครงสร้างไหน โดยการใช้ “breadcrumb” นั่นเองครับ
บอทมันจะได้เข้าใจ hierarchy ในเวบเราได้ง่ายขึ้นนั่นแหล่ะ เพราะบอทมันไม่ใช่คนมันเก็บแต่ลิงค์ มันไม่รู้หากเราไม่บอกมัน – -
เรื่องที่สาม Page Optimisation
ดูให้แน่ใจว่าคุณใช้ keyword อะไรใน URLs, หัวเรื่อง(title)ของหน้าเว็บนั้นๆ,tags ในหน้านั้น, ชื่อรูปภาพ, ส่วนของบทความ, ใส่ <h1><h2> หรือยัง, Image Alt attributes และใช้คำสั่ง bold(ตัวหนา) หรือ italic(ตัวเอียง) บน keyword ที่สำคัญไว้หรือยัง
เรื่องที่สี่ Link Building
ต้องดูให้แน่ใจว่ามีลิงค์อยู่ภายในเว็บไซต์ของท่าน เพราะบอทจะไปไม่ได้ถ้าไม่มีลิงค์ไปต่อ, โพสต์ตาม Blog ที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับ website ของท่าน, LinkBait, การซับมิทที่ directory ต่างๆ, การวิเคราะห์คู่แข่ง ประมาณรู้เขารู้เราอะครับ, ทำหน้า Profile ของท่านบนเว็บพวก Social,Pligg และ เว็บบอร์ดต่างๆ. และอีกอย่างที่ขาดไม่ได้คือ เชิญให้ทุกคนมาคอมเม้นต์เกี่ยวกับเว็บไซต์ของท่าน หรือการบริการของเว็บไซต์ท่าน Feedback อะครับ มันจะเป็นการดีอย่างยิ่งที่จะทำให้เว็บไซต์ของท่านดึงดูดคนเข้ามาชมเว็บไซต์ของคุณมากขึ้น(Traffic)
เรื่องที่ห้า SEO Tactics
ทุกคนจะเห็นว่าในกราฟจะมีส่วนดีหรือไม่ดีใน SEO แต่สิ่งที่คุณควรมุ่งสนใจที่สุดคือ การสร้าง sitemap,การค้นหา keyword, แล้วก็เรื่องการปรับปรุงหน้าเว็บไซต์ของท่านตลอดเวลา หรือเรียกได้อีกอย่างหนึ่งว่า อัพเดทข้อมูล,บทความ ตลอดเวลาตามแต่ลักษณะเว็บไซต์ของท่าน
เรื่องที่หก Linkbaiting & Social Media
แค่คุณ tweet บน twitter หรือ แค่อัพเดทสถานะบน facebook ในบางครั้งมันก็สามารถดึงดูดให้คนเป็นล้านๆเข้าเว็บไซต์ของท่านได้ นั่นแหละคือพลังที่ยิ่งใหญ่ของ Social Media และขอให้ใช้มันอย่างฉลาดด้วย
เรื่องทีเจ็ด SEO vs PPC
มาถึงข้อสุดท้ายละ จะอธิบายให้เข้าใจนะครับว่า จำนวนของ user ที่ คลิกบน search engine นั้นมากกว่า จำนวนคนที่มาจาก ลิงค์ของ PPC ดังนั้นสิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุดในบริการด้าน SEO นั้นคือ ความสม่ำเสมอของตัวท่านนั่นแหละในการทำ SEO
1. เวลาทำ SEO มักจำเป็นต้องมีคีย์หลักและคีย์รองเสมอ โดยที่คีย์หลักคือคำสั้นๆ และคีย์รองก็คือคำอื่นๆ ที่นำคีย์หลักมาผสม โดยส่วนมากแล้วคีย์รอง หรือนิชคีย์ มักจะสร้างรายได้ให้เราอยู่เสมอ
2. SEO เป็นการทำอันดับเฉพาะเว็บเพจหน้าหนึ่ง หรือหน้าใดๆ ที่เราเลือกทำเท่านั้น ไ่ม่ใช่ทำหน้าเดียวแล้วอันดับจะขึ้นทั้งเว็บไซต์ (แต่จริงๆ ส่วนตัวจุดนี้ผมไม่เห็นด้วยคับ) และมีการทำ sitemap ที่ถูกต้อง หลายคนส่วนมากรู้แค่ว่า Sitemap คือ sitemap.xml แต่จริงๆ แล้วคำว่า sitemap เป็นการออกแบบโครงสร้างลิงค์ที่ถูกต้องคับ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นลิงค์จากแท็ก <a> บนหน้าเว็บเพจที่จะกระจายไปยังเว็บเพจอื่นๆ ภายในไซ์ (สำหรับมนุษย์) และการทำ sitemap (สำหรับ robots) ด้วยไฟล์ sitemap.xml, .xml.gz (google) หรือ feed (yahoo, bing) โดยที่การออกแบบ sitemap จริงๆ จะต้องคำนึงถึงความสัมพันธ์ในเนื้อหาที่โยงแต่ละหน้าด้วย ไม่ใช่แค่ทำให้ทุกหน้าลิงค์กันได้เพียงอย่างเีดียวเฉยๆ แต่ปัจจุบันคงไม่ต้องซีเรียสมากคับเนื่องจาก sitemap สำหรับโรบอทไม่ค่อยมีความสำคัญมากแล้ว เพราะ SE แต่ละค่าย เน้นความสำคัญกับ sitemap สำหรับมนุษย์มากกว่า
3. ใช้แท็กต่างๆ ในการทำ SEO ให้ครบองค์ประกอบและถูกต้อง (จากประสบการณ์เีขียนเว็บรองรับ SEO ที่ผ่านมาของผมกล้าบอกได้เลยคับว่าตรงนี้สำคัญที่สุด ถ้าััจัดองค์ประกอบผิด การทำ seo ก็จะยากขึ้นด้วยเช่นกัน) หลายคนอาจรู้อยู่แล้วว่าในเว็บเพจแต่ละหน้าจำเป็นต้องมีแท็กอะไรบ้าง ก็เลยค่อนข้างซีเรียสกับแท็กต่างๆ มากเกินไป แต่หลายคนไม่รู้ว่า แท็กแต่ละอย่างที่ใส่ลงไปนั้น robots มีพฤติกรรม ในแง่ดี หรือร้าย กับการเก็บ index สำหรับหน้านั้นเพื่อที่จะนำไปจัดอันดับ ส่วนตัวแล้วผมยังคงเชื่อว่าการ Optimize หรือการเขียนโครงสร้างที่ดีที่สุดบนเว็บเพจ ยังคงเป็นการเขียน Content และวาง layout ที่แยกเนื้อหาแต่ละส่วนออกจากกันอย่างชัดเจน (หมายถึง out put source code สำหรับโรบอท) คับ
4. หาลิงค์จากทุกที่ ทุกรูปแบบที่เราหาได้ โดยที่ไม่ใช้มุขเดิมซ้ำๆ
5. คนที่ทำ SEO ที่ได้เปรียบที่สุดคงจะเป็นคนที่ทำ Gray Hat คับ
6. จิงๆ ข้อนี้น่าจะเหมือนกับข้อ 4 คับ แต่ผมไปเล็งเห็นความสำคัญของ API กับ Partner Site ที่กำลังได้รับความนิยม โดยลักษณะการทำงานขอเรียกง่ายๆ ว่า Auto Post มุขเดิม ที่เวลาผมโพสต์คลิปใน You Tube แล้ว มันจะ Auto Post ผ่าน API ลงใน Facebook ด้วย ถ้าหัวหมอหน่อยคงสร้างไอดีบอทเข้ามา ตัวนึง แล้ว list มาว่าเว็บไหนเป็น Partners Site บ้าง จากนั้น สมัครแล้วก็อัพเดทแต่ทาง Partners Site สำหรับ ไซต์ศูนย์กลางนั้น ขยันแอดเพื่อนเยอะๆ ก็พอคับ กรณีเราเป็นเจ้าของเว็บเองก็สรรหาปุ่มแชร์ต่างๆ มาใส่เว็บด้วยคับ คนไทยเล่น facebook, twitter เยอะอยู่แล้ว ผมว่าเราต้องได้อะไรดีๆ จากตรงนี้บ้างล่ะ
7. ข้อนี้ในรูปเค้าพยายามจะทำให้เราเห็นว่าการทำ SEO น่าจะได้ผลประโยชน์ดีกว่าการทำ SEM คับ (นี่ -*- ผมสรุปห้วนเกินไปไหมนิ ผมเชื่อว่ามีคนคิดแย้งข้อนี้นะ แต่หนึ่งในนั้นไม่ใช่ผมคับ) ผมมองเพิ่มไปอีกว่า ที่ดีกว่า seo และ sem คือช่องทางการทำตลาดในรูปแบบ create ด้านต่างๆ คับ เช่นทางโคนาด้านอื่นๆ คน, สื่อ, มือถือ, จิปาถะ … สำหรับบางธุรกิจถ้ามองเห็นแต่ seo และ sem เท่านั้นผมก็ว่าบางทีเราอาจจะอยู่หน้าคอมกันมากเกินไปคับ เราต้องลองชวนเพื่อนไปกินเบียร์วุ้นเหล่เด็กเชียร์เบียสวยๆ สั้นๆ แล้วเราจะรู้ว่าวันๆ น้องเค้าได้ทิป มากกว่ารายได้ทำ seo ของเราอีกคับ
